Run away freak

Main Character

Our 'main' character of the opning sequence is Ben who plays a run away freak. As this is the opening seunce we wanted to include a slight bit of the story. This involved us filming ben running away from the ring master, who is the villan in our plot. The picture below is of ben dressed as the runaway 'freak'.

For our opening sequnce we needed to do make up in order for our characters to have individual identities. As our opening sequence involves 'carnaval freaks' we had to ensure that the make up we did was abnormal and an usual. These costumes and make-up where decided before we bagan filming in the pre production stage.

 These make-up and costumes ideas helped to creat the atmosphere we wanted in our opening sequence.

Opening Titles

One of the first things you see in a movie are it's tittle. Though there are many other aspects aside from titles that help to show the genre of the film such as the colour treatment, the tittles are ofthen similar in style to those of other genres making it a distinctive eature of any film. To show this i will be looking at action adventure genres i.e marvel movies.

In pre production we developed a costume idea sheet that we have mostly stuck to although we had to make a few changes. Theses are the designs we all agreed on. we also made a story board, although you canot see it very well. I belive we stuck to these costume ideas fairly well.

This was the story board ide for the ring master. We changed it slight but kept the main idea.

This costume idea was for the skelital freak, similar to a skeliton costume.

This was the costume idea I used, it was a atype of wild almost anamalistic freak.
